| 06/06/2008 - BBC Promoted to Division 2 |
EXCLUSIVE!!
We can exclusively reveal that BBC will play their football in the dizzy heights of the SECL Division 2 next season. At the AGM last night it was decided that BBC will go up along with Claremont, Possil and CEC2.
One team (ICC) will be leaving to play elsewhere and there are 3 new teams joining the third division. This change has meant the committee have re-structured the leagues, moving us up to the 2nd division.
We've had a good season this year (with the exception of one or two games!!) and although its not ideal being promoted in this way, the challenge of playing against new teams is a welcome one
It does mean, however that we need to work even harder next season to ensure that we not only stay in the division but compete and do well in it.

| 25/04/2008 - Game V Houston |
The BBC headquarters has just released the squad ahead of 2moro's must win match against Houston. These games are always quite tight so manager John Martindale expects everyone to be up for it from the start.

BBC headquarters have just released the squad ahead of the game against Vineyard 2moro morning. There are a couple of enforced changes to the team which saw off Dumbarton in the last game. Out goes Laird, Neil and Austin but we welcome back Gravis and Hudson to the team.

| 01/04/2008 - Andrews returns for title run in |
The BBC can exlcusively reveal that defender Scott Andrews has returned from his 6 months abroad and will be here for the title run in. This surely will boost the squad and gives more options for squad selection.
Andrews, 26 is keen to play his part in the remainder of the season as the BBC contend for the league and cup double.
Unconfirmed reports this morning claim that Andrews is fit and ready for selection for Wednesday's game. Manager John Martindale is remaining tight lipped about his team selection ahead of this crucial encounter with Houston.

| 14/01/2008 - Player Payments |
Alright lads,
You may or may not have checked the guestbook on the site but I thought Id stick in this news item to highlight Paul's plea for money. He is in charge of making sure everyone's payments are up-to-date and he records all the money going in and out of the club funds.
If you have any outstanding payments, try and get them to him asap so its all in order. Check your emails for any amounts owed, he said he's emailed the night.
