14/08/2010 - Sat (14/08/10) BBC vs EK Free Church

Burnside Blairbeth 1 - 1 EK Free Church

Burnside went into this match looking to improve upon last weeks performance and handed starts to a few new faces in the team. However it was EK Free Church who looked the brightest in the opening exchanges without creating many clear cut chances. The opening goal came mid way through the first half when an EK forward managed to wriggle free of his man to head home from close range.  The goal sparked Burnside into life and they began to command more of the possesion and created several chances before the break.

A change of formation at half time by the Burnside management saw the BBC further stamp thier dominance on the game as they created yet more chances. Midfielder Simon Fraser coming close with some neat play in the box before crashing his shot of the post. Burnside kept up the pressure with yet more shots on goal but an inspired performance from the EK keeper left the home side scratching their heads as to why they were still on the losing side. However their patience was rewarded with almost the last kick of the ball as Charles Neil raced on to lovely through ball before cleverly chipping a delicate shot over the on rushing keeper.

11/08/2010 - Sat (07/08/10) - BBC v Greenbank CofS

Burnside Blairbeth 1 - 3 Greenbank C of S

A difficult start to the new season for BBC in their first pre-season friendly against Greenbank. Even though BBC started well after a number of changes, which were used to give everybody a run out, BBC's control of the game slipped and Greenbank took full advantage to score two second half goals to secure a well deserved win. Next up is newly formed EK Free Church.

07/11/2008 - V St Andrews 08/11/08

Breaking News

The management at the BBC have just released the squad for 2moro's tricky away fixture to St Andrews (formerly St Silas). For those of us who have played them before, its always been a good match and we will need to work extremely hard if we want to take the points.

Included in the squad this week is Gary, back from his broken wrist, and BBC's latest signing, the midfield dynamo big Gav. He will be hoping to get his first start but the BBC management are remaining tightlipped about the starting team.

Full squad: Ally H, Alan G, Marc, Keith, Gary, Charles, Gavin, Graym, Andy C, Chris R, Darren, Chic, Coyle, Jamie, Scott

31/10/2008 - BBC announce squad to face Kilsyth

It's been a few weeks since we've had a competative match in the league or cup so the BBC boys are looking forward to the visit of Kilsyth this coming Saturday. Managers Wylie and Hudson have named a strong squad to take on the C.O.G. and it is hoped that the boys will continue their unbeaten run in the league so far this season.

They're not going to give us the game, they will be right up for it so we need to be sharp from the word go and make sure we play the best we can. If we do that, I'm sure we can get a positive result.

The full sqaud is as follows:

Allan G, Ally, Coyle, Andy C, Chris L, Chris R, Darren, Gavin, Graym, Jamie, Chic, Keith, Marc, Scott A, Charles
