07/11/2008 - V St Andrews 08/11/08
Breaking News
The management at the BBC have just released the squad for 2moro's tricky away fixture to St Andrews (formerly St Silas). For those of us who have played them before, its always been a good match and we will need to work extremely hard if we want to take the points.
Included in the squad this week is Gary, back from his broken wrist, and BBC's latest signing, the midfield dynamo big Gav. He will be hoping to get his first start but the BBC management are remaining tightlipped about the starting team.
Full squad: Ally H, Alan G, Marc, Keith, Gary, Charles, Gavin, Graym, Andy C, Chris R, Darren, Chic, Coyle, Jamie, Scott

31/10/2008 - BBC announce squad to face Kilsyth
It's been a few weeks since we've had a competative match in the league or cup so the BBC boys are looking forward to the visit of Kilsyth this coming Saturday. Managers Wylie and Hudson have named a strong squad to take on the C.O.G. and it is hoped that the boys will continue their unbeaten run in the league so far this season.
They're not going to give us the game, they will be right up for it so we need to be sharp from the word go and make sure we play the best we can. If we do that, I'm sure we can get a positive result.
The full sqaud is as follows:
Allan G, Ally, Coyle, Andy C, Chris L, Chris R, Darren, Gavin, Graym, Jamie, Chic, Keith, Marc, Scott A, Charles

It has been a long and anxious wait but the BBC are delighted to confirm that the dynamic duo of Hudson and Gary will be taking on the responsibility of of organising the team for games. This is an excellent move which will undoubted lead to a good season for the lads.

08/07/2008 - BBC Transfer News!
|
There are a number of changes to the squad this season. As yet we are not sure the exact number of players who are leaving however, we do know for definate that Ally Hardy and Mick Cowe will not be pulling on the BBC jersey next season.
Ally is unsure of his future because he has now graduated so is looking for work and Mick has made the move to play for Greenview in the 1st division. These guys have been a massive part of the club over the last few seasons and it's going to be very difficult to replace them but we need to get on with it. Everyone at BBC would like to thank them both for their tremendous contribution to the team both on and off the park.
The other significant change is that our manager John Martindale has decided to call it a day. He will no longer be offering his insight and tactic suggestions from the side. Again, we want to thank John for all the time, effort, energy and shouting he has given us over his time as manager, it's been great having him as part of the team.
In terms of players coming into the club, the BBC back room staff have been working round the clock to secure the services of some new players. Already at training, there have been a couple of additions to the squad and rumour has it that there are further 5/6 players will join within the next month or so.

08/07/2008 - The hard slog starts here...
Pre-season has already starting as we begin to prepare for next year. Every Wednesday night and Saturday morning between now and first game of the season, the team will train at the Burrell Collection. It's important that our fitness is good so all players are encouraged to join in the programme. Chris has organised a guelling fitness schedule but if we work through it, we will be sharp and ready for the next season.
All new players are welcome to join us. Contact Chic for more information (chicmartindale@hotmail.co.uk)

06/06/2008 - BBC Promoted to Division 2
EXCLUSIVE!!
We can exclusively reveal that BBC will play their football in the dizzy heights of the SECL Division 2 next season. At the AGM last night it was decided that BBC will go up along with Claremont, Possil and CEC2.
One team (ICC) will be leaving to play elsewhere and there are 3 new teams joining the third division. This change has meant the committee have re-structured the leagues, moving us up to the 2nd division.
We've had a good season this year (with the exception of one or two games!!) and although its not ideal being promoted in this way, the challenge of playing against new teams is a welcome one
It does mean, however that we need to work even harder next season to ensure that we not only stay in the division but compete and do well in it.
